We Charlestonians feel extremely excited and honored because Fodor's Travel selected our Dogwood-Azalea Festival to be amongst America's Best Spring Flower Festivals!  Use this link to see Fodor's description.  We're so happy we can share the beauty of our spring flowers with you!

We invite you to join us each year in April for the Dogwood-Azalea Festival!  Tour the 6 mile Dogwood-Azalea Trail when Charleston glows with the beauty of magnificent dogwoods and azaleas at peak bloom.  Our dogwoods and azaleas are the stars of this festival but read on for a list of other exciting events!

The theme of our 56th Annual Dogwood-Azalea Festival happening April 18 - 21, 2024, is Hometown Heroes.  We invite you and your family to come help us celebrate the floral spring beauty and enjoy the wholesome hospitality of our fair community as you marvel at nature's beauty!

Here are just a few of the events you won't want to miss:  home tours, plant sale, arts and crafts bazaar, a parade (one of the area's largest), a blue-ribbon-for-all dog show, and more!

New in 2020 came Dogwood-Azalea After Dark.  All nighttime events such as our renowned candlelight walk are now included in this exciting category!
